dinhi sa cafe, gi-disable nako ang Internet Explorer and used Mozilla Firefox instead for all browsing. Then go to Mozilla website's plugins and extensions page, search ug "public fox" and install it sa Mozilla, but this plugin only works for Firefox versions 2.0 and up. Once installed, go to Mozilla's Tools-->Add-ons option. kaning Add-ons option ma password protect pud ni nimo. Just type "http://*example.com/*", for example "http://*youtube.com/*" and any site or reference on the web containing the word "youtube", ma block or ma disable ang hyperlink. Even if mo search ra ang customer sa Yahoo or Google or Wikipedia, ang "youtube" nga word ma disable tanan hyperlink. Hope this helps..

imo na gi try ug change ang host sa client computer? it should work.Originally Posted by NastyTM
try this syntax in your hosts file:
127.0.0.1 youtube.com
make sure not to put any http or www on the domain name. if you go this route, you need to do this on all the machines on the network nga dili nimo gusto mo access sa youtube.
regarding sa router, try to access your router usually at 192.168.0.1 or tanawa unsa imo gateway using the command "ipconfig /all". unsa gani ang gateway mao na usually ang ipaddress sa imo router. then check if naa siya option for web filtering etc. if not then do port forwarding if supported. imo i port forward ang ip add sa youtube which is 208.65.153.253. any outgoing packets nga ang destination is 208.65.153.253 -- forward it to your localhost=127.0.0.1
^^ dli mo work bro kung mo dretso sila og http://youtube.com
gamit ug surfcontrol bai.
mura pwede raman ni nimo i.block sa internet explorer or mozilla... na.a man na sa tools unya internet options...
if it was as easy as that.. the customer can always go up to internet options and remove the address from the list.Originally Posted by etsirkoid
