Yes i guess it is because it needs to be in the age or 20s in my opinion if we see though general sayings then surely you can learn anything in any age but when its about moving ahead and learning how perfectly something can be done then there is a proper and right age for it which works. You mentioned quite a right thing and i am sure it can work goodly.

Learning to program has no age limits... only mga programmers that think of working has the age limits... pwede man tah mag program for our own business and benefits... Older people beyond 30s or more think differently sa needs nila to program... perting daghana applications of programming not only limited to web, business and economic growth some people needs to learn it para ma enhance mga managerial skills and leadership and spot flaws and security issues on systems. this is a plus+ for older people because the young needs to be supervised and guided even if kabalo mga tigulang nga the young ones are better in every way...

Don't underestimate the Aged... they may be R.E.D. (retired and extreme developers)...

for TS not too late bro... actually ako kay 29 na, my background is graphic design and worked in a CC as tech support. Naa ko dri ron sa part sa europe, and applied for a company.. kita sila sa akong mga designs, but need sila ug software & system developer. Ganahan jud cla mu hire nako and even offered me a whopping 400k pesos(converted from their currency). So yeah, back to zero ko and will study again. They sent me emails as well for all their training materials to get me started as well some sample projects they had. They will also give me some projects while at it. I dont know if dali ba ko makat.on but im willing to know.

PS. the salary indicated is not the actual amount but not lesser than that. this is a real figure and not bragging.

    NO.

My Partner in my previous work, She was at her 30's i think to be exact she's 34 and no experience in Programming / IT related work, though she was a graduate in computer science. But still she was able to cope-up much better those FRESH GRADUATES who are 4 months experience ahead.

If you really have the passion you can always learn faster and even compete to those who are in the business already.
