But still I'd say his awkward style of blocking the shot and spreading his legs during landing made the difference. I rarely see an NBA player land like that.

It would have been easier if he'd blocked the shot from behind instead of going after it at the front.

Paul George's injury is too gruesome to watch. Pray for his recovery.

correct me if im wrong but, i talked to one of my friends earlier who happens to be a specialized ortho student in CIM. he said, an injury like that of PG is a common healable tibia-fabula fracture. i asked him if there is any chance of him being able play again the same level of athleticism he once had, he told me it's dependent on the severity and the extent of soft tissue damages.

anyway, what he meant with healable is that, even if the bones have restructured, the risk is a bit higher than the pre-injury. smh. i think he's career as an all star is over. he will remain an nba player but a bench warmer na lang. paita. pero i still have high hopes for this young man, and the doctors.

Di naman guro na m0 heal ang bukog on his age. So d na jud ni cya ka duwa ug maayo. Sayang iya career.

prognosis ni Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Chao who has done a lot of video injury analysis
on NFL, NBA etc.
nutshell - significant injury similar to A. Silva and K. Ware ( K. Ware still playing competitive basketball, Silva expected to fight again next year.)
diagnosis w/o privy to Xray and stuffs, Dr. Chao expects a long full recovery.
as horrific as it looks, not career ending.
mental hesitation upon return but expects Paul George to overcome it.
