Freedom of expression doesn't mean expressing your grudge against the democratic government. Freedom of expression means you can do anything under the roof of democracy for you to survive or even thrive wherever you are in a community.

Meaning walay mopugong nimo bisan magunsa pa ka dha pinangita ug kuarta as long align sa moral values sa atuang balaod... Pero kanang sige ug reklamo, saway sa gobyerno "in a sense freedom of expression ghapon" provided na sa sakto na pamaagi...

What you were doing is a joke, way molambo na tao dragging them down to whining rather than working...

Amen?
As I said, continue with your joke. No one can stop us complaining and expressing if that's what we think the best thing to do not for ourselves but towards others. This is a forum, right?

I will make this straight, you do not know us, our jobs, our accomplishments, our advocacies. And as if our lives evolve only in this forum.

Naa pay freedom of speech daw ang mag sige ug saway ug insulto sa gobyerno. Freedom of speech of no use, and they call themselves intellectuals. LOL

"Sometimes we need to free some space in our heads for practicality to work with a particular problem, rather than stuck ourselves in theories or ideas of other persona and claim to be a man of intellect without giving a hint to solve the problem."

    ***********************
Anti-intellectualism is hostility towards and mistrust of intellect, intellectuals, and intellectual pursuits.
This type of people somehow understand more than the written words and norms...

Try to look your definition and where you fit in...

Intellectualism denotes the use, development, and exercise of the intellect; the practice of being an intellectual; and the Life of the Mind.
*In the field of philosophy, “intellectualism” occasionally is synonymous with “rationalism”, that is, knowledge mostly derived from reason and ratiocination.

*Socially, “intellectualism” negatively connotes: single-mindedness of purpose (“too much attention to thinking”) and emotional coldness (“the absence of affection and feeling”).
You all fall in this very definition of intellectualism my friends. You being a social site intellectuals kuno, I don't know, are you?

anti intellectual also mean - a habit of mind and mode of discourse which would deny the legitimacy of an alternative point of view, where rather than winning the argument [they] exclude their antagonists from the argument’.

Big example here ... Nefarian -- suppressing freedom of speech, against protest, dictatorship mindset, maayo manaway but siya diay cant practice what he preach... and now the anti-intellectual got banned.

between "too much thinking and emotionally cold" is something much positive than "not much thinking and being emo" .

these one refers to a single-mindedness, a way of thinking that runs within the scope of belief "denying" the "legitimacy of an alternative point of view"(your word). A negative connotation of being "intellectuals". I have no problem dealing with the intellect provided it doesn't fall to the negative category of it. Meaning open-minded na mga tao, the reason I have been asking people here to open up if you want a better discussion. I have failed.

If you really believe that the thoughts we partake here in this forum does not validate itself on your line of thinking. Then it only shows you were not open minded and single-mindedly programmed to just harass the government.

Being emotional is an indicative that you are interacting with a person, the reason why I keep replying to your post because I consider you as a person, an emotional person. Besides issued here is too delicate that requires emotions and personal experiences to find the resolution for the said issues... So don't act like you were emotionless computers that inputs words after words and more technical words but doesn't process practical applications that of a common individual with human emotions understand or can be handled and probably cared about.

There is no argument when you believe what the other party believe. >I believe in your cause, but not how you do it.
Argument is useless to a closed-minded opponent, it is so tiring. >Try to process alternative views and weight things out.
There is no sense going to an argument, at all. Especially when it comes to something very technical that even those who practice the said area have a difficulty about it.

I hate copy-pasting thing, that makes me not me.

I don't understand why some of you guys who know better bother replying with some of these posts that dwell on the small things. This will just slow you down and they don't have anything useful/tangible to offer. It was good from the start when it was still 2010-2013 when there were a lot of people defending the other side where discussions were more factual and logical and less emotional.

Now, what happened to them? Those who stood up for Pnoy? Where are they who made logical arguments without resorting to unrelated comments leading to emotion? Are they in denial? It's the same with some current posters here who can't seem to muster anything substantial anymore. You guys just side with Pnoy because it seems like there's no one willing to take up his fight? Anyway, I'll just be lurking here and reading some comments since nothing really seems to catch my attention anymore.

Your advocacy is your cause, your accomplishments is yours to keep, your job is your business not mine, knowing you people is not of my interest, I don't find any connection why you cited it somehow with importance. As if your life revolve only in this forum.

I am not joking when I posted my own view, I have my own personal advocacy. And that is to make some noise as a wake up call to all the people who will care to read what I posted with the main theme. "Lihok tao aron mo molambo, dili sige ug reklamo sa gobyerno kay wala nay kaayohang mahimo kung dili gubot sa inyong pangutok." Complaining, expressing is what your ancestors did to no avail, and here we are doing what they've been doing years ago and still to no avail. Busa lihok, dili lihok kay mag-rally, lihok kay mo-trabaho para makakuarta di magtinapulan ug magsalig sa pasalig sa pulitiko..para ni sa kadaghanan na tapulan, kung dili ka tapulan wa kay apil, didto ka sa lain category sa akoa sad lain na advocacy with a theme "Help people to understand that violence will only cause chaos"... if you find it as a joke, then to you it's a joke....LOL..

The only thing I agree is your question. "This is a forum, right?"

They were probably fed-up with the singularity of your perception about things that are currently happening. Since they know better than you, they rather keep in silence than engaging to an ignorant yet arrogant arguments.
They don't bother replying knowing that none of their replies will sink in to a closed-minded opponents.
There is no sense to argue at all, if you refer the facts to what has been published and considered logical if it goes along with mainstream of your belief.
Or probably they've got your ideals and makes no sense to further the discussion because of redundancy.

Keep lurking until an unsuspecting drop-by member pin an interesting post with a little bit complicated thoughts and take him/her as a prey by your streamlined arguments.

note: yous were a plural you
