A woman was arrested Thursday for allegedly stabbing and wounding a secretary of a doctor inside a private hospital in Quezon City.

Police suspect a personal grudge was the motive behind the assault inside the St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City, radio dzBB's Glen Juego reported.

Citing sketchy initial reports, the dzBB report said the attack occurred inside a room of the fourth floor of the SLMC's Medical Arts Building.

In his report, Juego said the female suspect was about 4'10" to five feet tall and of medium build. She was wearing a jacket and was handcuffed, he added.

An initial investigation showed the assailant managed to smuggle in a bladed weapon by wrapping it in her clothes.

She then got into the victim's room and stabbed her, wounding her in the face, chin and hands. The victim was brought to the hospital's emergency room.
