Mga masters ask ko sa inyong opinion, I have a 3 months old HP cpu given from a friend bnew ni pag palit daw last year, its an old LGA 775 dual core. Everytime ig boot, it says "ERROR: System fan has failed, Service PC to prevent damage to the system, Press <F2> to continue"

I tried BIOS reset the jumper or clear CMOS and remove the HSF still no luck. The HSF btw is an aftermarket cooler, not the orig HSF.

Also sa bios I found nothing to configure the FAN or check the temperature. The Bios is Phoenix.

simple. replace fan. di na mawala ang error message unless d mo pag replace same part.

tested and proven.

Btw, @Siopao: System fan is chassis or CPU fan?

Solved: No need to replace CPU fan. Ako gi buhat kay gi butangan nako ang 3 pin male slot sa mobo ug AUX fan that has 3 pin slots female slots and it works, ERROR is gone!

@Butits: Mao lage hehehe ingon mangud c siopao nga i replace ang fan pero I doubt di man cguro need. Mao nga pag butang nako ug chassis fan na okay cya. Thanks
