so sa imong logic kay abusohon man sa taw dapat sya i-ban? ang fastfood pwedi abusohon, mao na ma obese ang taw ug mas daghan pang komplikasyon sa kalawasan, diabetes, coronary diseases, etc. ato sad i-ban ang fastfood?
making things illegal will not stop people from using it. people will abuse anything they can get their hands-on, but the main point here is getting the abused substance away from the criminal element and let the government regulate the substance. we are spending way too much on drug enforcement that is clearly not winnable. imagine the money the government can save or use on much more important things because of the regulation and the tax generated from it. plus it makes the product safer, in the sense that no pesticides and harmful chemicals are used in growing it, since it is being regulated.
I am not condoning or encouraging the use of any substance, but anyone should have that right to do so, responsibly, without prejudice and the fear of being incarcerated.
FACTS not assumptions.
