i think lang ang Vista home/ultimate is pretty much ok.. as long as its running 32-bit... if mag 64-bit ka.. then this is where most of the problems come in na.. so i've heard lang sad..

A problem with the 64-bit version is the availability of drivers. Most 64-bit driver are not 100% optimized or even not available at all.
Its also hard to find 64-bit software. The 32-bit version will be good for 1 or 2 years, I think.
I have 3.4GB left from my 4GB, so I really do not care about 64-bit. For me, it is important that all application and games are working fine and fast with optimized drivers.

you can't run away from bugs.. even in your present OS your using.. there is bugs.. I tell you what ever software or OS.. there always someone out there creating Bugs for a living..

mostly this people are the antivirus company.. they are one of those who create bugs or viruses for their company to survive..

they create viruses then they are also the one who create antivirus for such virus..

if you know what i mean..

BUGS for vista.. gamay pa kaayo coz of its new structure of program.. but eventually this freak bug generator will have the chance of bugging vista.. as of now wala pa ko na experience ug Bug sa Business nako kay dili kaayo ko naga sulod ug mga site nga daghan addwares..
if imong mga programs or softwares are not original some of it has addware or bugs.. but not all viruses are bad.. they help you crack your software for you to unlimetedly use that product..

nah, the bugs you are talking about are the adwares, spywares, and viruses, lol.

the bugs of what I mean are the glitches of the software. and there's no one creating them for living, lol.

that is why there are service packs 1 and 2 in windows xp to address these bugs in the program.


by the way, fyi, adwares, spywares, and viruses are appropriately called intruders or parasites in relation to computer terminologies, and not bugs.

I use Vista Ultimate and do not have any issues.
All my hardware was recognized properly.
Running with all features/aero enabled and no glitches at all...

well, if you have purchased that one just recently good for you....

as far as i had read reviews go 50/50 on whether or not to upgrade to vista or not... and these reviews come from outside the country...
cant really remember the sites, but i did read some of them....

Vista Ultimate should be good because it is the high - end amongst the Vista OS...

In MY opinion, Vista is better.
It start programs much faster, make full use of the memory, looks nicer, loads faster, and it did not crash even once (consider that I am a programmer and do a lot of tricky things...).

But as I said, that is MY opinion, MY experience. Your might be different.
