it's for meditation and internalization purposes bai..like a song, the more you sing it, the more you understand the meaning...
like reading your bible, the more you read it..the more enlightenment you shall have..
technically speaking..it's a way to help us mean what they pray..

also, even Jesus prayed the same prayer again in the the garden of gethsemane,
"Once more he went away and prayed the same thing."
