I'm personally using "Lock Photo + Video Safe Free - Secure" app for years now. I don't save any private and personal photos in the "Photos" app. You can create folders, apply passwords or pattern locks, move photos and/or videos from/to the "Photos" app (vice versa) and you can import/export your pics/videos to your mac/pc locally or over the network. It's just as good as any decent android app out there (only that it's iOS).
