Like most "Shawarma" outlets this is rather disappointing for me.

First, shawarma meat should be sliced prior to serving so that the meat will not dry out, common practice here is to chop the meat beforehand then reheat it or put it in a crock pot. Result, dry meat.

Second, the pita bread is not properly browned.

Third, the flavor of the meat is just meh.

Fourth, meat to condiment ratio is rather poor.

Overall, it's still a mediocre shawarma for its price.

PS: I miss the shawarma of the past where the actually cook the meat on a rotating vertical flame grill and just slice the freshly cooked meat prior to serving. Those shawarma were flavorful and the meat is juicy. ( I miss the old shawarma place near Silver Dollar served by a Middle Eastern guy. The chili paste was to die for)

I thought I was the only one. My sentiment exactly. I like my meat freshly sliced from the heat (i also like watching the chunks of meat rotating and the juices oozing) and my pita charred

wala ko kasabot kon why they call their product shawarma. a shawarma is a kind of meat preparation wherein the meat is placed on a pit and grilled all day. ilang meat prepared na daan and I strongly doubt kon grilled or roasted tu ilang meat. lami man cya but they shouldn't call it shawarma.

Kani ganing Leylam Shawarma, commercialized na kaayo. Naay uban stall nila kay ila rang e microwave ilang meat.

Pero arangan nalang sila. Naa man gani uban shawarma-han nga ang ilang sauce kay mura rag ketsup nga naay hot sauce.

I agree! Mao nang first shawarma store nga akong na tilawan. Bisan almost 20 years nato, ako gehapon ma feel ang distinctive taste compared sa uban.
