Added GTX780 following Nvidia OEM recommendation (more Amps on +12v required than for Titan). Added Radeon HD 7990 following AMD recommendations/Anandtech review (AnandTech Portal | AMD Radeon HD 7990 Review: 7990 Gets Official).
GeForce GTX 780ti - 42A and a 600W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX 780 - 42A and a 600W PSU minimum
Radeon HD 7850 - 21A and a 500W psu minimum
the AMD HD77xx | 78xx are power performer yet very economically sound VCards.
if not for the parricidal R7 | R9 , they would still be selling like Hotcakes.
then, got an ASUS HD7770 GCN Gigahertz Edition OC < 19A and a 500W psu minimum >
dili ko maguol sa VECO Bill kay gamay kaayo ug kaon evn mag cge ko ug duwa

SWAK sa BUSLOT!
for you to benchmark...
my MSI R9 270x Hawks... manually OC'ed the pair to crunch Scrypt Algo (Noble coin)... each of them are pulling < 10 A per card...
factory OC'ed variant man ni'ng Hawks, akoa pa gyu'ng gi manual OC ang pair...
> core clock freq: 1200 MHz
> mem clock freq: 6000 MHz (1,500 MHz setting)
i had also use the pair before in playing BF3, BF4 & Crysis 3 using the setting above, max amp per card (as shown on GPU-Z) is < 10 A... mo spike sya'g 10.5 A... actual gaming performance wise, it is top notch... smooth sya... my cpu was a SB i5-2550K OC'ed to 4.8 GHz... kun mag padagan ko'g FRAPS, naa sa 90 ~ 110 fps sya on BF4 (mantle disabled)... gamig performance, a bit better man kuno ning R9 270x compared sa HD 7950... but no experience ko's HD 7950... kun i compare nko ang R9 270x Hawk Xfirex sa akoang GTX 670 SLI, actual gaming performance, wla ra'y kalahi-an. dili ko maka distinguish sa difference nila. but ang FRAPS ra... above 120 fps man ang GTX 670 SLI... sa kani na set-up, PSU kay Corsair TX750...
anyhow, my R9 270x Hawk runs in my 450 W PSU too (single card ni ha)... kaya ra na's true rated 450W PSU ang isa ka R9 270x. kaya man gani ang kang bro Keropi sa PSU nya (450W man siguro to)... GTX 680 and a 1st gen i5... both are manually OC'ed... sakto ba ko bro Keropi sa akoang gi mention? please correct me kun sayop... thanks...
oh, before, I run a dual HD 7770 GHz Ed in a true rated 450W & 37A PSU (Super Flower)... manually OCe'd the pair to...
> core clock freq: 1,200 MHz... stock was 1,000 MHz
> mem clock freq: 5,000 MHz (1,250 MHz setting)... stock was 4,500 MHz (1,125 MHz)
> cpu: SB i3-2120 @ 3.4 GHz... OC'ed by raising the base clock to 105 to squeeze additional 100 MHz speed
> mem: 16 GB (4 x 4 GB)... DDR3 1333 MHz

so 600w PSU it is , i thought makaya ra sa 500w basta branded lang
XFX HD7850, ang naa sa specs sheet nila recomended PSU 500w, pero dagan ra man ni 450w smoothly.

pasaka daw nato
I dont know where the author sourced these but they look pretty inconsistent to me. Take a look at these pairings and tell me what you think guys:
Titan 38A vs 770 42A (770consumes more?)
SLI 560ti 42A vs 770 42A (560ti consumes like the 680 which is essentially the 770)
660ti 24A vs 680 38A (difference of 14A?)
650ti boost (768sp) 24A vs 660ti (1344sp) 24A
570 35A vs 680 38A (384bit 570< 256bit 680?)
670 30A vs 280x 30A (an overclocked 7970 = 670?)
680 38A vs 290x 33A (256bit 680 > 512bit 290x?)
7950 25A vs 670 30A (60w more??)
6770 25A vs 7950 25A (128bit 6770 = 384bit 7950?)
5770 34A vs 6770 25A (the same gpu)
And the biggest question mark of all
5770 34A vs 290x 33A?
