Help! In assuming a business

hi guys.. i need help... i will be assuming a food cart business soon but i dont know what i need to get from the previous owner once mag binaryanay nah.. and is there a seminar here in cebu about how to register a business? i'm really new to this and i want to learn how to do it and what i need to do in establishing or continuing a business... hoping for your suggestions guys... thanks

You should let yourself oriented with the things that you need to know before you assume the business and don't just give your money and do it your own..... The previous owner should tell you all the things you need to know before you assume the business and you should ask a lot of questions on how the previous owner runs the business.....Equip yourself with those things so that you would not regret assuming the business without any knowledge on where to start and how to proceed....

i'm already aware of that, but what i am asking is if there are documents that i need to get from him after the payment, that would be like a proof of sale bah...

Of course there should be....I'm not sure what kind of documents that he is having now, but you should have the documents to prove that he owns that franchise and inquire from the company if you have to undergo some process to transfer the name of the ownership to your name....basta know the terms and conditions from the owner before you pay....

if it is legal ,,, you have to ask the sanitary permit, business permit, bir, bfad permit,,,certificate of registration..if i were you go directly to the franchisor's office ,,,so that you will be guided...
