    Exclamation Need help regarding 4x4


    I recently bought a surplus pajero IO a/t.
    ok ra jud tanan until gi engage nako ang 4wd kay ng tow ko ug jetski..
    Gi set nako sa 4hlc and worked perfect. Niabot ra jud mi sa giadto an ug nakabalik pa mi sa balay.

    Now here's the problem.

    Di na jud mo balik sa 2H ang transfer shifter..
    gi try na nako ug transfer using N+ handbrake, N+ brake +handbrake. P+ handbrake + brake..
    Fwd and rev then shift to 2H..
    di na jud mo sud ang 2H. Naa nalang jud sya pirmi sa 4HLc..
    Akong P500 40kms ra gidagan..

    Unsa angay buhaton? Or naa ko sayop sa pag disengage?
    kinsa naa nahibaw an expert nga mechanic diri sa cebu regarding 4x4s?

    Ang ako ra gyung advise nimo bro nuh since napalit na man na nimo imong pajero, convert it to manual transmission, mao nay isa sa mga problema sa first gen transmission sa japon, oil pressure controlled A/T, it will come to the point nga mukalit pa na ug ungot ang atubangan nga differential ana, nakasugat na ko ana nga problema 3 times na gyud, last resort option nako sa severe cases nga in-ana is to take out the front propeller para lang magamit ang sakyanan, ang best move gyud ana is to convert it to manual transmission if you want 8-10km/liter fuel efficiency on a 4D56 engine, BTW your vehicle is rated to be 6 Km/Liter on a perfectly working condition Pajero A/T

    Thank you sir but i have the 1.8 gdi pajero iO version... And i dont know kung naa manual tranny assembly ani available diri..
    Ok rasad nako tangtangon ang front propeller sir but asa ta magpa trabaho ana?

    Thank you sa input, at least i know naa pa last resort kay i thought i will be getting a new tranny..
    And di jud ni sya intended para tow, ako lang ni gipuli sa ako awto kay tingbaha na baya ron..

    Ohh Sorry bro abi ko ug 4D56 na imong pajero, in your case gasoline engine di-ay na, so I bet electrical solenoid na na imong unit, I think makaya ra na sa DAJ or any well experienced shop trabahu-on...

    Ako gidala sa tri j boss nya gi tang tng nila ang tube para sa vacuum sa front? Not sure.. Pero p250 ra ila charge.. KARon smooth nasad padaganon ako sakyanan.. Suwayan sad nako adto daj kung unsa ila advise..
