its nice thought of u to consult ur gf.. wud give her d impression dat she's important to u.. but ultimately, its u hu shud decide.. though for sure, ur gf's say to it will definetely have a big influence as to what ur decision may be..

kng ako ikaw.. if ders no love lost between u and ur X.. f watever it was u once shared w/ her in d past wasnt worth d while and if all d stuffs she gave wud bring back "unwanted" memories to u den get rid of it.. otherwise, i think ders nothing wrong in keeping them.. so long as u will no longer treasure them like u wud treasure ur new gf.. (or shall i say, ur wan tru lab -- in ur case! )
