An "almost" impossible choice for the average people. Unless of course if the government would directly ban the china product importations but then again that's even more improbable.

china has already built their first ever aircraft carrier and also they have a hospital ship which catered the yolanda victims before. though they are gaining military prowess in asia but still they are no match against the U.S. of A..

Granted that it won't be through bullying. The world would reckon when China, Japan, ROK, and the ASEAN countries are aligned. It won't be equal to the EU-American partnership, but it would be pretty damn close, with Russia being the third wheel. Of course this seems to be a pipedream.

hmm..lain man akong experience with the Chinese. AFAIK, there are ***holes from China, U.S., or Japan, it's not a trait exclusive to a particular nationality.

If you don't want to buy made in china like myself, there are options. However, prepare to spend more.

Most of the time, the "more" is not really in pesos, it's only in time.

Check for example shoes, there are so many made in china nikes, adidas, etc. and they cost more than a somewhat similar model that's made in vietnam. Ergo, made in china is not always cheaper so you have to put this in your mindset first. Once you have it, it'll be easier to look for alternatives.

The worst part is, our local businesses are taking advantage of most pinoys mindset of "china lang kay barato" then you'll be shocked that many of them price made in china products similar or even higher to non-made-in-china so keep your eyes peeled.

I've made a thread about made in china products (where they are, etc.) on here: https://www.istorya.net/forums/politi...hina-made.html

I've been in two chinese employers and both of them are the same... ilang ginansya ra ang gi huna2x. if imo tanawn ang mga negosyante nga insik sa ato... pare pareho ra. daghan nila kay below minimum wage ang i sweldo sa ilang employees with no benefits. mao nang grabe na ka dato ang mga insik kay bisan dagko og ginansya, gamay kaayo mo sweldo plus mang lihay pa gyud og taxes (heard it from our company's vise president himself maong maka dive amo price against sa competitors). naa bitaw poy amaw nga japanese og americans pero wala ra na sila compared sa mga insik. naa nako ron sa australia unya based sa akong experience, ang chinese og lebanese ang lisod ka trabaho. dili mo cooperate as a team unya dili mo share og knowledge. late last year lang kay gi football ang usa ka chinese engineer namo kay gi koypa sa iyang external drive ang tanan company documents including confidential files og trade secrets. may gani na sakpan
