Should newbies be disallowed to post under buy/sell and pm access?

its ok to do restrictions but it will also limit us newbies opportunities to engage in business... no. of post doesn't prove anything... even trusted people can't be hundred percent straight... if all can be controlled or regulated then there wouldn't be any troubles existing... think of alternatives for us newbies kung maaprove man... talk it over with the others pls... and Good luck... :mrgreen:

Igo ko ani dah I'm a newbie here and the only thing that interest me in joining Istorya is because of the BSTC thread. I have no problems with the rules set in this forum. I just want to ask if its a requirement to post in other sections before we could say we belong to istorya.net? Can we just post on the sections that interest us like BSTC and yet we can still be accepted to be part of this forum? Sorry but Im offended with this statement as a newbie of istorya.net

Istorya.net is first and foremost a community not a classified ads forum. Istorya.net does even earn from ANY of the transactions done through BSTC. We encourage everybody to participate in the discussions before they are allowed to post their own topics in BSTC.

To answer your question, YES it is a requirement since BSTC posts do not count.

guys & gals, i've been an istoryan for more than a year na. i dunno if i'm still a newbie or a junior member na. i don't quote or post threads much but have been viewing and replying topics of any forums that i find interesting. istorya.net proved to be very useful to me. last 2005 i sold my personal car thru istorya in less than 2 weeks! local newspapers took me forever & u have to pay pa. lately, i forgot my old password so i just changed to a new one. One thing i found is the new format and there is no more icon for "post new thread" for buy&sell. why is that? is this the new guideline for forums for a newbie like me? i was kinda feeling discriminated. please can somebody shed some light? tnx

i think you should not generalize us newbies i mean its a free world. if we only want to do business then so be it i mean u cant force someone to just be posting when what he/she really want to do is just purely business. but they have this quota before u can sell or open a new topic in the buy and sell forum so lets just leave it that way okay. don't be so harsh on us newbies becuz u urself was a newbie before u got that rank. hope i made myself clear. thank you

first of all, please read forum rules & regulations... the main purpose of disallowing newbies to the BSTC section is because daghan kaayu mga mangingilad nga mobaligya, unya mahalin ila gibaligyaan, maghimo dayun sila og laing account. ubay2x na raba iSTORYAns nga na-biktima ani.

if i were to decide, dapat dili unta junior member para maka post sa BSTC section, but i would suggest to upgrade his/her status to senior member para ma-evaluate nato whether this seller kasaligan ba or dili.
