    I'm not surprised, at all. I do notice that a big percentage still use WinXP, and while it's a stable system that doesn't mean it's not prone to viruses/malware. The thing with the update is, upgrade to the current OS because of better support.

    Then again, the computer is only as functional as its user.

    I think kelangan ra jud ug orientation ang mga tao. mao man ni resulta kung tagaan ug technology ang mga tao pero di kahibaw mugamit

    True. Speaking of orientation/awareness, I see few number of people doing it as a free of service. Thus, those knowledgeable prefer not to share with others such that they will get bucks from them with their service.

    It really is true. Kasagaran sa mga pinoy mga pirated software man ang gamit, OS and and security. So no question nganung dali ra kaayo ta ma infected. Also another is that most user are just users who uses computer without the right knowledge to protect their computer. And I know why kompyansa ra sila because dili man grabe ka valuable ang DATA diri sa atoa. If their flashdrive computer or external drives get infected, they would always resort reformat as lat option. If dili gyud madala ug save ang data or PC then it is okay to them. In other words not a very big deal if ma infected man kay dali ra kaayo ipa reformat.
