IMHO music's too wide to stick with one flow bai.. And no doubt i love to listen to phat beats and make one on my own..And It doesnt mean that if im more into punk /hc ill have to diss hiphop / pop/ rnb/ rest of all the genres etc And comparing bananas and oranges like the other threads in this forum (emo or punk? tooot or tooot?)..Diversity is what makes us unique and human, right? Why do you have to compare two very different things then take a side and diss the other?...
And I hate stereotyping like what's happening now ,all the diss, all those kiddy issues etc. just because you're (insert genre here) you've to act,walk the walk and talk the talk like one and at the same time diss the other..

oi! thanks for explaining. i understand now and infact i agree with you. i think we share a bit of the same mentality in music. i dont want to be boxed in 1 particular genre and i dont want to conform nor be forced to conform. anyway, i like "phat" beats too. thats why i played bass for a hip hop band before. hehehehehe... not really into the culture and get-up thing. i just like the music. hehehehe...

i just love them phat bass and snear combo w/out the whole bling2x, gangsta, i wanna beat you up package..i love artists who discuss life itself, what its like to be part of a struggle both for growth and success and some political (non o.a. poli) stuff..
Artists like aceyalone, immortal technique, sabac red from non phixion, dead prez, the roots, x-clan, wutang clan, gangstarr, cronite etc..
