it depends on the couple's preference, either way, the importance of which is the same.. its both legal.. the only difference is the one presiding the wedding - either priest or a judge.. 'gasto' wise, its the same, the docs you need for civil is the same docs you need for church.. (or maybe a few added to the church)
it only varies depending on the way you celebrate it, some civil weddings are celebrated glamorously while church weddings done simply, but most of the time, its the other way around.. well that's every girls dream anyway, walking down the aisle with the man they loved the most waiting for them.. but the most important thing is you guys got married.. I had my fair share for both!
