marius nga angay i dissolve ning mga negosyo nga break-even lang pirmi. Dili lagi ka lugi sa kwarta pero ang effort(energy) ug time spent is priceless as an owner. You could have used that time and energy to something productive and profitable. Nganong mag negosyo ang tawo? Aron maka kwarta. Mag negosyo aron mag break-even? So illogical.
I will use noodles as an example to show the purchasing power of your "profit". I will use P700 pesos as base rent since ikaw man gahatag ani nga sample.
In operator's POV:
2013
Noodles - P5
Rented a jeepney for P700/daily. How he came up with P700 is he computed everything from expenses to profit.
700 minus daily expenses(family/food/school/maintenance/registrations/misc/etc) = P100 (profit)
P100 goes to the bank as profit.
Purchasing power: 20 noodles (Assuming this is the range in which the operator is contented)
Noodles - P6
Rented a jeepney for P700/daily.
700 minus daily expenses(family/food/school/maintenance/registrations/misc/etc) = P80 (profit)
P80 goes to the bank as profit.
That's a big dive in purchasing power from 20 to 13. So don't say nga dili affected ang PUV business sa inflation kay ALL business are.
Then aron mabalik iyang purchasing power from 13 to 20 then mag increase siya sa iyang rental. All he needs to do is compute until he will get a profit of P120. 'Cos P120 can buy 20 noodles in year 2014.
It is just an increase of P40 in rental.
2014 (Nag increase ang operator sa rental)
Noodles - P6
Rented a jeepney for P740/daily.
740 minus daily expenses(family/food/school/maintenance/registrations/misc/etc) = P120 (profit). It was P80 before.
P120 goes to the bank as profit.
Purchasing power: 20 noodles (operator is contented)
So there is always "profit" in PUV business. Inflation ang reason ngano mo increase sila sa rental aron "stay at is" ilang purchasing power.
In case of the driver's POV:
Naay increase sa plitihan aron maka compensate sila sa P40 increase sa rental. Principle is the same in business ma PUJ, BBQ, Tuslob buwa etc.
In case sa commuter's POV:
Looy kay ang suweldo walay increase2x so samot ka low iyang purchasing power. Nag ka increase ang mga prices pero iyang suweldo wala.
P.S. The value of your profit now is not the same as time goes by. Contented ka sa P100 profit in year 2014 pero nig year 2015 don't expect ang value ana the same ra gihapon. So to compensate these change of times mag increase ta.
