i like vai, satriani and malmsteen. but i like j. petrucci more than these guys. yeah i know, they're really gud on techniques and everything. but petrucci can make really cool riffs than these guys. thats why i like petrucci better. dream theater's timing is also something. i dont hear much timing changes from vai, satriani and malmsteen and this is a big plus for dream theater.
