"Several resorts have sprouted through the years and the pristine-ness has declined." - I couldn't agree more. This is really happening in Bohol but if this happens to El Nido, I'll be joining the group who will contest too much commercialism.

I just hope that no barriers along beach stretches will be built... - hahaha if it happens, Bohol will be the same as Lapu-lapu City who prides their white sand beaches - but reality is, muddy sand beaches due to these barriers affecting the sea water movement.
