    Sheka, use a tripod when taking long exposures... otherwise your VR or IS should be turn on.
    I dont see the sharpness in your image.

    I didn't bring tripod on my way home. I was in a hurry taking that shot since I takes a few seconds only to pass under that bridge. but anyway thank you I will remember that. I just noticed that Sony Cameras r not good for night shots. I took one shot earlier that night, and cebu looks like on fire. a burning hell

    @Sheka
    High ISO or + Compensation counter by a faster shutter should work. Although a bit noisy but its better than
    blurr picture.

    If you say you were on board a vessel not even a tripod could help at normal/ low shutter. You were probably travelling at 8-12 knots.

    Sony is a good cam. :mrgreen:

    it's not that fast coz the vessel is still at the vicinity. i had a shot using ISO 1000. I didn't like the shot.

    Sheka,

    bdway, my compact cam is a sony. Thats d cam i used for underwater shots also.
    not bad.

    just practice, practice, practice.
    digital btaw, processed only pictures u like.
    after all, u are d artist yourself.

    also, compact cams are really noisy above ISO400.
    although recent models have minimized the noise.
