Do we really need super large PSU wattage para lang ma meet ang requirements needed?

for my case naa koy mga unit nga dual core for pisonet more or less than 100 W ra ang total sys consumption.then kng mupalit ko ug true rated branded na 500W PSU then murag imbalanced ra kaayo ug medyo pricey pud "nevermind the quality".ug usa pud murag nihit na pud karon mangita karon ug branded na 300W PSU.so most of the people who have less <100Watts PCs will fall to buy a generic 500W PSU than a costly branded one.

the power taken from the mains is not equal to the DC power taken inside... sucked by the DC load (PC components inside)... mas gamay nang actual power sa DC load... mao bitaw naa'y energy conversion certification like the 80 Plus... the higher the efficiency of the PSU, the better... para gamay ra ang power na ma usikan nya which will equate to a lower electricity bill per month... the higher the efficiency rating sa PSU, maka bantay ta physically na dili kaayo init ang air exhaust sa back shell sa PSU if i-compare nato sa mga ordinary efficiency like 75% efficiency units...

pila kaha ang mga ordinary/generic PSU efficiency murag 70% EFF ra mn tingali.?so 30% is wasted heat.true pud ky akong generic Eppien init init gyud ang back exhaust compared sa akong Thermaltake.

^ korek gyud bro... kay ang lower efficiency PSU, dako man sila'g electricity waste... and the electricity waste will result to "heat"... thus, init ang buga (exhaust air) sa mga low efficiency PSUs... pero, even the higher efficiency PSUs, mo init ang buga nila if ang DC load inside will be greater than its 50% load capacity... ang highest efficiency point or peak efficeincy sa mga PSUs kay naka 50% load lang sila... lower and greater than its 50% DC load, mo ubos pud ang efficiency level nila but, still, it still passed the 80% efficiency requirement...

generic PSUs, naa na sula sa 70 ~ 72% or even 75% efficiency...

cool... nag plano baya ko buy bigger watts nga PSU pero lisuda pangita oi... standard man tanan diri cebu... kalas diay ni electricity akoa PSU boss noh basta gagmay.... ang Manufacturer ani kay Delta electronics then naa daun LOGO HP sa Ubos...
