    This is probably the third time I've read about a security guard shooting (and killing) somebody whom they're not supposed to shoot: One was a homeowner in a subdivision, another a car owner driving to the airport and now this. But has anyone heard about a security guard heroically taking down a thief or a trespasser or saved the very person who's paying their salaries? No. That's because it's the lazy bums of our society that usually sign up for such jobs.

    These incidents are far too common. Our place has a problem with a couple of workers, but the committee head won't deal with them because he's worried they might turn violent. Crazy situation.
