    @jaeahr

    Being diabetic, have you considered trying IF? From what i've read before, it seems like a study was done and the results was an increase in insulin sensitivity(due to fasted training)

    Trying reading this, Fasted Training For Superior Insulin Sensitivity And Nutrient Partitioning | Intermittent fasting diet for fat loss, muscle gain and health

    @Xenoxorph

    yea idol. i definitely tried it from Feb 15 to March 7. my body couldn't handle it. i was doing 10/14 window i believe or 8/16 i forget.
    did it for about 2 weeks. i loved the results. i could tell i was dropping fat fast + my hiit + my caloric deficit. these 3 things were just going hand in hand.

    when i started to bulk in march. i still tried to do IF and i was going hypoglycemic throughout the day and especially in the gym =(
    i'm going to try again though once i get my diabetic panel done in May. i had a really bad A1C in january. super high blood sugar. completely dangerous. my doctor told me if i don't change something quick. the 3 types of arthritis i already have from the diabetes are going to be the last of my worries.

    i take my blood sugar 3-5x a day. if anyone knows any diabetics that do this . my numbers were as high as 300-400 mg/dl. post meal. just for some side info. a diabetic shouldn't have more than 180 mg/dl after eating. so yeah. the doctor recommended i lift weights and eat properly. to force insulin in my body and to get my pancreas to start working

    i would LOVE to try IFing again. i loved the results. i know you can do it during a bulk but i think i'm going to wait until my cut. just to give my pancreas time to repair itself.

    thanks for the suggestion. i made a post-it on my phone to give it another try =)

    EDIT:
    my pancreas is working a lot better now but i think during the time i was bulking and IFing it was just a bad idea. carbo loading + IF + broken pancreas = epic fail

    Wew. Anything above 200mg/dl is already high, so much more 300-400 O.o Are you a type 1 or a type 2? Don't you inject any insulin to bring the BS down?

    to correct myself. i was going hypoglycemic and hyperglycemic. hypo during my fasting window. and hyper during my eating window. i felt like crap the WHOLE entire day. my pancreas hated me it seems.

    <3 for being knowledgeable in diabetes. yeah 200 is over the top. LOL. i'm type 2. i don't have it as bad as type 1 diabetics since they are born with an unfixable pancreas. but at least they get shots to get "x" amount of insulin in their body . my pancreas just produces insulin at a very very low rate. super broken.
    i have maintenance medicine though. metformin . lewlz.

    trying to repair it now before it's too late. it's the reason i got into lifting. it's not to get a better body. it's to fix 30 years of treating my body like crap.

    Glad to hear that you're actually doing something about your condition. Others would just whine and hate the world for what is happening to them! I look forward to seeing your transformation

    that "whining" and "hate the world" was me from the point i was diagnosed with diabetes. all the arthritis attacks after that. up until i joined the gym. i know exactly how that feels.

    thanks @Xenoxorph. hehe. i look forward to seeing my transformation too. a whole lot.
