we can only say that we are surely saved kay we know salvation is the work of GOD and HIS work is perfect, meaning to say nothing that we did or do will make us all worthy to be saved. unsa bay standard sa Ginu-o compare nato? naa bay tao maka achieve sa standard of righteousness ni LORD?

Kinsa bay naka follow sa 10 commandments nya wa gyud napaltos? dba wala that's why we are all sinners but GOD gave up HIS only begotten Son's life for us all, that if we believe in HIM making HIM our LORD, Master and Savior, HE will surely save us from destructions, He will justify us and make us worthy of Holiness, mao nga maka sulti ta nga luwas ta, becaiuse of HIS work and not ours.

and we know that we are saved because it is life changing for us. we used to........ but not anymore.
we seek His presence more and more, we love to Hear His word and talk to Him often, the fruit of the Spirit of GOD will manifest in our life. Etc. etc.

mao na ako two cents about getting and being saved by the HOLY GOD of the Bible.

tagatisa also had a very good point. because if there is a God that exist then that God would still be the ultimate judge. you may think you are doing what is right and is holy but that God judge you to be a self-righteous hypocrite so he'll still tell you "woe to you hypocrite". and i have encountered so many pastors (non-catholics) and priests (catholics) of that kind. the self-righteous hypocrites who are fast to condemn people. so we'll really never know, what we can only do is make an estimate that probably i'll be in heaven becaue i did what is right. but what if that God thinks that you are being that hypocrite in his parable who went to church with the belief that he is very good.

but through God's grace ma usab man nang tawo, mao nang namatay si Christ para mawagtang ang tanan "legalism" sa Law (which also reflects God's holiness)...

though free will sad nimo of mag usab ka o magpadayon sa sala...

Di na pasabot maka sala ka impiyerno na dayon, but persistence in sin can nullify salvation... but constant trust and abiding in Christ is what makes us truly grow (John 15)

P.S. ang theology aning salvation, mabasa sa 1st Epistle of John (not Gospel of John, though naa sad jud diha), but ang dagan sa unsa jud ang salvation can be found in 1st John.
