HELP! What's the title of this movie

Please i need to know the title of this movie. This was shown way back in the 90s on HBO. katong bag.o pa ang cable. Twas 1993 or 1994 i think. But the movie's from the 80s or early 90s.


A guy somehow ends up on a date with a girl he does not like. She's a real nerd, she's a brunette with an ugly old fashioned dress & glasses, he's a dark haired guy in a blue car (his dad's). The car got scratched or something bt luckily the girl knows everything about cars (thanks to her uncle, i think). Later, they get wet or dirty & ended up at a laundry mat. By this time he likes her, she takes off her glasses (guy was surprised by how she looked without it. And she said "what did you expect? A german shepherd." & they kissed (not sure). At the end of the movie he walks her to her door & goes back to his car throws the keys up in the air but misses them, & they crash down on the car. You see him standing there but you hear him making a call to her for help, she says "No Problem" Then it ends.

Karaan to na movie..i think not later than 1995. Dfinitely not she's all that. Twas a good one too though. Lisod jud. I tried everything to no avail. i think movie made for tv ra to xa. Namasin lng ko basig naay nkakita ani na movie and they might know the title.
