bro, ask lang ko ha. how do you define your term on the "PSU smoothness"? can you quantify your statement or this is just based on your feeling? if based on feeling, can you detect what kind of PSU was installed on your rig w/out you knowing the exact brand and model? granting, it is not in an over-load situation.

on my last statement i bet, that you "will not" distinguish any difference at all... even if a generic PSU was installed inside your rig... but again, granting, that the generic PSU can provide the required juice needed by your rig...

we can not distinguish the performance of a "Generic PSU from an 80+ certified Titanium PSU" except if we will check and use a "Curve tracer" and other measuring instruments... again, let me stress this out... if ang DC load, kaya sa generic PSU ha...

kun ordinary generic PSU then ang DC load nya, naka OC na CPU (either intel's "K" or AMD's "FX" CPUS) ug naka OC na mid level GPU w/ 2 x 6 pins power connector (the likes of a HD 7870 and GTX 660 Ti)... then gi gamitan lang ug molex to 6 pin converter cable, aw, bugha gyud nang components nato ani... hehehe... dili na sala sa PSU... sala na nato... binugo lang ta...

my old HEC psu died 2 months ago then ni palit ko aning FSP, you can feel sa imong system kung unsay difference gyud. the last time mu kalit lang sleep akong GPU which akong monitor mag standy kalit mga seconds. so far sa akong PSU ron kay wala ko naka experience ato in a very intensive use. so maka ana ko nga mas smooth ni karon compared sa last nako nga PSU. its not scientific pero when you feel both systems maka ingnon gyud ka. bow hahahaha
