bay the church gives birth to the bible. pls study the history of the church. the catholic church uses bible and tradition as the basis of its faith because prior to the compilation of the bible by the church, it only has tradition as the sole basis of its faith. The compilation of the books ( old and new testament) was the result of the painstaking work of Catholic scholars under the guidance of the holy spirit. the pope can give his personal opinion on matters but this doesnt necesarily be the stand of the entire church. It is only when this is made as encyclicals or declared at councils where such pronouncements become dogmas or doctrines of the church. The pope as a person can err.. he even confesses to a regular priest for forgiveness. he only becomes infallible when he makes pronouncements as the titular head of the church.

The bible is written by men, and interpreted by men. Don't you think it has no bias nor prejudice?

The Church DID NOT Write the Bible, They COMPILED it, Please study History ALSO...

If you Mean RC as the CHURCH, then WHY some People in Vatican DONT Agree with the Pope if they were in the same Religion? If they were using the same BIBLE? Whats the reason?

So the Question is, UNSAY atung sundon, ang Bibliya nga maoy Pulong sa DIOS, OR ang Religion Which in this CASE dunay panagbangi sa IDEA ang Pope ug uban Membro niini?

If you believed that Those Men were Guided by the Holy Spirit then there's No Bias...

Im talking about the authors of the Gospel (the prophets, the Disciples) Not the RC religion that COMPILED it...

And there lies the problem, I don't believe in prophets, ancient or otherwise.

When people in the bible said they heard god spoke to them, they're called prophets. When people today say they heard god's voice, they're called insane.

Puwede na sio basta dili lang pud literal.

Unya kini Sio, dili na ta mosunod ini.

    Romans 13:1-7
13 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.
6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

Unya maorag kini angayan natong buhaton.

    1 Thessalonians 4: 9-12
9 Now about your love for one another we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other. 10 And in fact, you do love all of God’s family throughout Macedonia. Yet we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more and more, 11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, 12 so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody

    Paglikay nga makasala ka ha.
sunod man kaha ka ug bibliya.

Then its Your Problem not ours

The Topic is all about some differences between the Pope and some people in Vatican that represents the RC religion on some issue. the TS wants to See asa ta dapig. I dont see why your UN Belief of the Prophets became a Problem or part of the Topic.

Your verse does not even APPLY to the issue.

The scenario on this Topic is this, Pope and Vatican are Both AUTHORITY. And Both of Them have DIFFERENT stand on the Issue of Salvation for ATHEIST. So the Question now is - WHOS authority we FOLLOW? The Pope authority or the VATICAN Authority?

Unsay atung Basehan or unsa atung GUIDE to Determine WHICH of those 2 AUTHORITY is CORRECT? auhority gihapon?
