sweet sixteen. for instance, sa west teams this season, naa chance ang memphis, dallas and phoenix compared sa east nga new york and atlanta to compete in postseason. most wins ra basehan regardless of conference standings.

Whilst fixing the current playoff system to a very interesting ala-NCAA March Madness kind of playoffs, this will also affect the lottery and eliminates the idea of "tanking".

Sheridan's solution:
Worst Six Teams: 9 percent chance of winning
Worst Teams 7 through 12: 4 percent chance of winning
Worst Teams 13 through 16: 2 percent chance of winning

The other 14 playoff teams get 1% chance of winning. Now that's how you should do it. Mr. Adam Silver please. And Sheridan should patent this idea of his as well.

^^ aww there.. but haven't read his article nor brought up his idea. came to it while observing/watching march madness. and for me the sequence might work well in nba.
