tempa, klarohon lang nako... boot time is after POST and going to loading Windows... anyway, i think i get what you mean. since ROG, i would assume Asus na... kabantay ko sa uban models sa Asus nga hit or miss ang pag access sa BIOS and sometimes depende pud sa imong USB keyboard nga gi gamit... believe me, this happened to me...

anyway, for your case, try to isolate nalang bro... labad gyud na sa ulo... try balik sa previous settings... try to disable also the items in your BIOS nga dili nimo gamiton (e.g. on-board audio, wifi, etc...). make sure lang nga you know what you are doing once you change settings in your BIOS... if it breaks, it's not my fault, hahaha! ako daghan ko mga gipang disable sa BIOS... sa akong observation, naka shed kog roughly 4 seconds nga POST time compared sa default settings.

Bios splash screen and POST are not counted in the boot time, boot time count starts from the time you see the windows loading screen (windows logo) up to the moment you got to the login screen /desktop. BIOS and POST is not performed in the SSD/is not on the ssd, so having an SSD won't have an effect with the BIOS/POST time.

If you're so worried about boot time, use bootracer so you can see some numbers. I won't worry so much about the BIOS splash screen and POST since it's normal to have them. If you wan't you can disable them, as per boss @bim27142 says.

^^ hhmmmm dugay gyud na bro... daghan sad kaayo na features imo mobo sa BIOS so try to disable the ones that are not being used kay tanan na i scan na niya during POST...

naa pud nay POST time delay ang Asus... try to lower it pero ayaw sad himu-a 1sec kay dili naka ka sulod sa BIOS ana (believe me i tried this )...

    > reset bios to default : on thinking that you might have tweaked it for XMP mode

    > boot with just the SSD
    > boot with just the SSD + Black : time it

    > boot with just the SSD + WD Green < this is a slow booter than black or SSD > by experience..and got both of it.
