I can't really recommend any cheap place but maybe this would help:

    Hi guys,

First time travelling alone & outside the Phils kay nasuya kos ako mga barkada nga nagtour2x na sa lain2x nga nasud since last year. Wala man ko naka apil sa ilang giplanuhan ron for Cambodia and the only promo nga natsyempuhan nako sa CebuPac was for HongKong this coming August 21.. which I guess is not a bad choice man sad.

Nag try ko backread until page 380++ and will start reading the HK thread in PEX pero wala na gyud nako napugngan ang pagpangatol sa kamot nga mupost ug mangutana. :P

    Flight Details:

Cebu - HK: Departure [Thurs Aug 21 @ 6:20 AM] and Arrival [Thurs Aug 21 @ 8:55 AM]
HK - Cebu: Departure [Sun Aug 24 @ 9:40 AM] and Arrival [Sun Aug 24 @ 12:15 PM]

As of now naglibog pa ko if asa sa aning duha, Disneyland or Ocean Park, ang tagaan nako ug 1 day gyud nga visit since I'm also planning to visit Macau and as well as gamay shopping2x. Nabasahan man gud nako nga usually mag sale sa HK around July & August.. ang naka apan lang.. init init gyud daw aning mga panahuna..

I'm planning to buy a laptop and a digicam for myself, as well as a baseball cap kay lisud na kaayu pangitaon karun.. kasagaran nako makit-an puro new era na..

Layu layu pa nuon but here's what I've come up with pero I'm still looking for better options sa trip.. DIY lang kay para lingaw ug ikaw ra sad maka buot buot asa adtu without time constraints..

Day 1 - Upon arrival (Aug 21) 9 AM - pwede diretsu na ko ana sa Disneyland? OK ra man guro no di nalang mupahulay? so whole day ni siya until fireworks display..

I guess ang kaning Avenue of the Stars and the Peak kay pwede ra sa gabie noh? pero I don't know if maapas ba sa travel time since I haven't checked the distances pa..

Nya by then mangita sad ko ka stayhan nga hostel.. I'm planning to stay at oi suen guesthouse in mongkok pero kung makakita pa ko lain nindot and cheaper.. then i'll change it.. mao ra man na endorse sa ako kaila sad..

Day 2 - Early to Macau (Aug 22) 7 AM - 7 PM?? - i'm undecided as to how long I'll be wandering in that place.. hehe.. or is there a need to grab a tour guide when I reach the place??

after ani back to HK proper nya pwede pa man siguro mag shopping ani nga times no? to look for a laptop and cam/ etc?

Day 3 - I really wanted to visit the window of the world pero do I need to have a Visa na since it's in China? Dugay sad ma approve if ever didtu mag process? Kadyut ra unta like half a day then mag ocean park na dayun..

Inig eve ani kay balik lakaw lakaw na unta then mga kadlawn prepare na for the early flight back home..

i've seen usual budget sa mga taw is 20K-25K w/o shopping and as well as the air trip.. kani siya nga plano kulang ra ba ang 25k w/o shopping? Dili ba kaayu hagu ni nga sched? Thanks daan!

might be a long read here @miasongskie hahaha

    Spoiler!

Kung hilig mo ug rides malingaw jud mo ug OceanPark. If lingaw2 lang feeling kids kay Disneyland

Just search about where you can buy the stuff you're looking for, I don't usually shop when I travel

I agree DIY is better, that's what we did. tanaw rajud mi sa map, naa man sad pictures. mu pili rami kung asa mi na interesado kay mu adto mi and amo calculate daan unsa ka layo and unsaon pag adto, if makaya rag lakaw kay lakwon rasad namo. commute if layo na. just try to research about transportation there (bus and train)

Day 1 - okay ra kung direcho namo, ayaw nalang mu pahulay.
A : Ocean Park in them morning then "The Peak" in the evening, pangita mog barato kan-anan daan kay medyo mahal sad ngadto.
(I have an awesome memory there sa the peak, nag inom mi sa pinaka taas na observatory/deck bisan bawal hahaha)

    Or

B : Disneyland - ma abtan jud mog gabie if nahan mo tanaw sa parade and fireworks. (layo-layo sad siya)

Avenue of stars (symphony of lights show at 8pm ambot unsaon ninyo pag squeeze-in ani, pero pwede rasad mog mu adto bisan wala nay show, sayang lang hehehe, incase maka abot mo naa silay radio station para sa music sa lights hehehe )

Try to find a cheap place/accomodation near sa inyong mga gusto adtu-an

Day 2 - Macau is easy. when you arrive in macau, try to find a map and collect them all! hahaha. naa rana daghan imo makit-an ngadto or just ask an officer
note: never trust any pinoy at the pier. pwede raka mu ask ug directions nila pero ayaw lang pakuyog nila.

as I remember, few meters from the ferry terminal, you can find hot women... I mean bus terminal for buses going to the casinos just ask for assistance sa chix... I mean sa staff/officer if you're having trouble finding it.

see the map you collected. and enjoy! hahaha

yes from Macau pwede ramo ka balik dayon sa HK to shop for the items you were looking for.

Day 3 - Windows of the world is easy with group visa tour. There might be some requirement(s) on the trip like a picture of your group, kelangan COMPLETO pamo when you exit if naay mabilin or nawala na groupmate, aw good luck hahaha. just try to research more about this if you're really interested

medyo layo man ang WOTW. pero kaya pa siguro na if mag Ocean Park mo sa afternoon

in the evening if maka abot mo pwede 8pm sa symphony of lights nalang mo or mag laag2. sulita lang jud inyong remaining hours bahalag walay tulog!

6am, you have to ride the express train para maka check-in namo

lastly, regarding sa budget, been there for like 4 times already but honestly I can't remember pila tanan ako nagasto hahaha.
sometimes free akong airfare kay sa Miles, and accomodation kay naay sponsor hahaha.

just a rough estimate including airfare, yes maybe 25k is enough.

    Cheers!

    Salamat kaayu bai @pirehro! Hehehe

karon pa gyud ko nag check sa google maps and ako nalang i grupo grupo ang lakaw kung unsay naa sa duol para d hago sa byahe..

day 1 - upon arrival sa airport.. adto ngong ping 360.. until noon lang then byahe para disneyland until mag parade/ fireworks cla.. then after ani go to tsim sha tsui para ngita hostel dayun gawas napod para mu try sa ila market

day 2 - macau ghapon then nig ka gabie adto mong kok/ causeway bay para laag2x ug window shop.. kung naa maganahan.. then palit pero not much kay 20 kilos ra man pod baggage padung uli

day 3 - i drop na na nako ang plano nga WOTW kay ako ra isa nya wa na time magprocess pod visa.. i adto ko nlng siguro na ug nanlian garden... then to ocean park (ganahan ta ko sa rides like abyss ug flash pero ako ra isa so sa sunod nlng kanang naay kuyog para lingaw.. hehe) nya inig ka gabie kay the peak or avenue of the stars... asa mas nindut aning avenue of the stars or the peak?

sunod nako plan is to check for the transportation pero i guess i'll have to go with their MTR using the octopus card.. ako nlng pangitaon unsay numero sakyan ug mga schedules aning mga lugara

I see you've done more research sounds a good plan to me.

between Avenue of Stars and The Peak. both are really nice place and a must go. but if kelangan jud isa, I'd vote for the peak.
but since tsim sha tsui ramo mag stay, hapit nalang mu sa avenue of stars late at night sa inyong day 1. duol raman kaayo diba? bisan 30 mins lang mo ngadto. pa picture lang. nice baya

yes good choice MTR octopus card sad amo gamit,
and in case mag bus ka which is also a good means of transpo there, andam nalang ug sinsilyo. I have no idea sa ilang card for bus. hehehe bus routes may be seen on maps or bus stops and apps.

to help you more on directions and transpo, I think there are apps that can help you. just download it on your smartphone or tablets

You can still maximize that itinerary. all up to you!

I know for sure that your trip will be fun!

    Cheers!

Why not go to both avenue of the stars and the peak.
Since you will be spending your day 3 in ocean park, just go early to the peak. The view from the peak is best during the blue hour, around 5:30 to 6:30PM. Then, quickly go down to avenue of the stars just in time for the symphony of lights at around 8PM.

IMO, your sked is hectic especially day 1.

Imohang I/t Okay pero pinaspasay. To Enjoy Hong Kong you need to Have atleast 4 days to go around Hong Kong because aside from Disneyland, ocean park, Victoria peak daghan pa pwede adtoon sa hong kong. Anyway, given your choice of I/t mao ni akoa ma suggest.

    Day 1

Ngongping 360 (atleast before lunch humana ka assuming 10am nagline ka for cable car ride)
Disneyland (1pm naa naka didto, fireworks 8pm)
Tsim Sha Tsui (10pm ka abot - assuming nitan aw kag fire works, ngita kag hostel that time )
Walk around tsim sha tsui to avenue of stars.

    Day 2

    9am off to Macao
8pm arrived Hong kong (asa ka nga terminal? Sheung wan ?)
Proceed to causeway bay then to Monkok before 10pm kay mag close na mga shops.

    Day 3

    9am Ocean park
    6pm Victoria Peak
( you may skip nanlian garden kay mas nindot ning duha )
9pm monkok incase you cannot make It on day 2.

    Note:
-Kasagaran are reachable by MTR except ocean park (there's on going construction of terminal But not sure Kung humana )
-You can use your octopus card sa bus, seven eleven and MTR but not for taxi.

When I first went to Hongkong I have done the Ngong Ping 360/Disneyland itinerary for a day and here's what I have to say for me Ngnong ping and Disneyland deserves at least one day each why kay sa ngong ping besides taas kau linya sa cable car padulong ug pabalik daghan nice didto tanawon and sayang f magdali2x ka kay eg abot nmo sa disneyland dli nakau nmo masulit mga rides ug uban pa kay daghan pud linya... but depende ra nmo if gusto raka tanaw gamay sa places and picturial so depende lang...

If shop pud ka gadgets try Apliu Street naa cxa sa Sham Shui Po Station exit A2 or C2 eg gawas nmo sa MTR mkta ra jud na nmo dayon daghan kau baligya dha mga gadgets ug try pud sa mga food dha kay lami.... mura jud tiange2x iyang setting lingaw kau....

Sa Shenzen mas pref ka f kuha ka dri ug visa daan pinas kay kami when adto mi HK wala nami kakuha didto kay ngon nila dri najud ka sa home country nmo kuha unless f naa ka work permit didto... ambot or wla lang mi magkasabot sa tour agencies didto ug immigration officer....

Pwede raka adto daan The Peak kana before sunset kay nice kau ang sunset didto then eg uli nmo hapit ka avenue of stars kana before mag symphony of lights...

Why ka nahan Nanlian Garden wala mankau ka makita didto except tuyok2x lang tanaw2x sa garden but hinoon pwd rapud ni nmo matuyok ug kadali mga 1 hr ra ug duol ra pud kau sa MTR but f gusto ka naa ko suggest mas nindot ug mas lingaw try ka Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple ....good luck sa trip... if you could have stayed longer daghan ka masuroy sa HK and then uban libre ra tanaw dili kau gasto... kay mas madakaan mangud ka if adto ka sa ilang mga tourist attraction like theme parks kay mahal cxa gamay

Salamat kaayu sa mga advice @pirehro, @b00rdz, @jpcrown, and @bonjour

busy pa ko sa work so wala pa gyud kay ko ka basa2x pero gabie i was checking on these 2 sites:

    http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...ute_Map_en.svg

    MTR

i'm wondering if ako i swap ang ako day 1 activities with day 3? will it really make a difference? i'm good with dropping the "nanlian garden" activity nuon.. sakto sad ang ocean park - the peak - nya avenue of the stars nga combo... if ever wala ray kalainan ang swap, then i guess ill just drop the ngong ping 360 nlng.. pero nindut baya siya pa picture2x.. lol..
