Correct si bim. Audio is a science, a complex one that is. And selection couldnt be any simpler than considering a few parameters based on claimed figures. The only foolproof way is to audition the device yourselves. Online reviews are not even reliable IMO as the audio culture is stained by propagandas, opinions are divided based on fanaticism and is flocked by people claiming to be one of the few with golden ears.

    @TS
Ug na kay chance, you can audition the largest selection of cans in the philippines sa egghead in robinsons galleria. If not, id recommend you audition some AKGs. See if naay baligya si Fetzhola.

Generally dli jud mahibaw.an ang sound signature sa headphone or earphone due to the specs sometimes it's even questionable if truly rated or how its measured. The sound a headphone produces daghan kaau factor like even changing the housing or eartips/earpads contritubes to it's overall sound esp. for the more "meticulous".hehehe

In a dynamic driven headphone/earphone, technically the bigger the driver the more capability to move air. More air could potentially give more low-end reproduction or gitawag na "Bass". BUT that doesn't tell that a headphone with bigger driver is automatically "bassier". For example Sony's MH1c has a micro dynamic driver(around 7mm if I remember correctly) pero the overall bass response it has is more than the huge 13.5mm(for an earphone) Monoprice 8320.

Impedance could also play a role, like Beyer Dynamic's DT770 model which has the same drivers but different impedance available 32ohms being the lowest. I've only tried the 32ohms version and not the higher ones but from people who have tried them, they said they sound different. Though for these models there could also be other factors that made the difference in sound pod. Generally Beyer Dynamic tried to describe the basic difference in their website.

For a buyer's perspective who looks at the specs. What you can consider is functionality wise, lower impedance(like 32ohms) is good for a user who does not want to use a headphone Amplifier since higher impedance could require an amp to drive it.

Also buying a "modded" headphones with lower impedance could also become harder to drive after mods are done like placing added materials behind the drivers to act as dampeners, which tells that the construction or housing of such headphones play a role and that is beyond the specs on the box can say.

Oh naay uban manufacturer mu.publish ug Frequency curve/ frequency responce graph. Starting from the left is the lows(bass) going to the rightmost is the highs(treble). So low notes to high notes.. if ang peak naa sa may left dapit thats kinda bassy. Pero ang methods of measuring that mumatter napod, different methods of measuring could alter the result pero atleast you get the idea unsa iya sound signature.

Best thing to do is audition the units or if wla just test units refer to reviews(The more the better). Disclaimer lang: people tend to have different perception, what may be good for some may not suit you.
For a start try audiophile sites/forums like Head-Fi.org - Headphone forums and reviews for audiophiles, naay mga kugihan na reviewers nga daghan na au nareview. Enjoy the search!

I'm planning to upgrade my SJ55 to a higher end headphone nga bass heavy. Kanang punchy/powerful type nga bass. Ngayu unta ko'g suggestion ninyo.

Ayaw lang ng IEM, I prefer closed on-ear or much better kung over-the-ear.
Kanang above average sad ang durability.

Naa ko'y nakit-an sa net pero dili available diri or please PM me if naa mo'y makit-an nga namaligya'g bnew nga Philips O'Neill the Drop, or V-Moda Crossfades.

    Salamat istoryans

Wala man sila'y O'Neill or V-Moda products nga baligya.

Well para nako TS tan awa iya Frequency Response. Usually mga baratuhon naa sa 20Hz to 20KHz reponse. If imo low frequency limit is mas ubos like 10Hz or 5Hz mass kusug ang bass. Kung imo high frequency range mas taas like 40Khz mas hagting.

In short mas wide range of frequency range mas nindot ug sound.

Although mo matter sad ang uban like power output, or amplification, impedance matching, Mas dako jud ug basis kung frequency response imo tan awon una before nang uban specs.

    Just my suggestion
