MY EXPERIENCE TODAY.

Researched last night, comparing prices between PC Quickbuys, Gaisano Interpace and PCX. Decided on the parts i want.
Went to the bank today. Got the money. Decided to get all parts from PCX. Took taxi to CFIC branch near SM. WTF! Not there anymore. Took another taxi to Jones. Had lunch in McDo Jones. Walked to PCX. Gave them a list of parts. Majority of the parts are in Manila and it will take 3-4 weeks to arrive. WTF again! And I need to pay the shipping cost!!! Then what's the price list for? I assumed that it's on stock and on hand. I can't wait that long. The money was burning a hole in my pocket. I might spend this on something else.

SO BUYERS BEWARE!!! With PCX and PC Quick Buys pricelist, it would be better to go physically to the store and ask what is available. At least with the Gaisano Interpace pricelist the reader knows that those parts in yellow are stocked in Manila and carries a 5% surcharge.

That's kinda sad to hear bro.

The thing is, I think tanan shops siguro, dili tanang items nila sa price list available gyud. There will always be an item or a few nga wala. Samot na tong mga online2x dealers ra kay order2x ra man ilaha. Ug mangutana ka, naa nila tanan. Mao diay orderon pa. Mura ra na sila ug middleman, laway lang puhunan.

And it pays to call ahead before actually visiting the shops. That's what our phones are for, right?

Sorry to hear this bro. Mao ni kasagaran na experience sa taw nga excited including me. Much better jud kung tawagan daan to check as what most of the people here would advice. The purpose of the pricelist is to inform us that they cater(ed) those items but usually, not all kay naa man pud siLa gi baLigya which is waLa sa price list.

how hard is it to do what gaisano interpace did with their pricelist? all highlighted items are in manila. they can put an asterisk (*) to signify manila/order basis.

Usually bro, items on pricelists are available on their 1st batch of stocks. As time goes on, they wont re-stock items immediately if the items are not that in demand.

Ug ingani ilang tubag bro, aw wala gyud sila anang tanang imong gipangita.

And kanang sa Gaisano, dili pud tanang naa sa pricelist nila bisan pa tong dili naka* available gud. Nakatry ko kapila ug pangutana diri sa manila tong mga 78xx cards nila kay barato lagi kaayo, wala man pirmi stocks. Ug moingon pa sila nga daghan kaayo kuno sigeg pangutana nila ato nya order basis ra gihapon kuno. Dili ba na kadakong binuang..

funny that someone mentioned PCX.
i called PCX 4 months ago to inquire about a motherboard. an asrock g41c-gs.
lady who answered the phone said it was 3,300.00

so the next day i went to pcx jones to buy 2 boards.
i found the motherboard but this time 3,700 na presyo!

Never gonna shop PCX again, ever.
