I think you were talkin of another guest maam, it was not us who will go to Molobolo Springs in Tuburan, and we were not offered another vhire service, we should have taken that if it was offered, I would like to suggest that don't charge for your utensils, instead, make a price for it, and let it be borrowed for free and list it for the unit inventory, before the guest checks out, checked all the utensils borrowed in your inventory if it is returned in good shape, if something is lost, that's the time you will charge them even if tripple the price of the utensils if it is lost it should be paid, That is acceptable than charging us for the utensils, we need to pack all our kitchen utensils just to cook there and travelling with lots of baggage is a burden. I am working in a tourism marketing company and most of the accommodations has the same concept in handling these things. It is really a nice beach which I also recommended to my friends, but what will I always say to them? " It is a nice beach but bring all your kitchen utensils cause they are charging there if you will borrow" not good to hear right? most of my friends will say.. "kaaaannngggg" ka way lami gud, daghan d.i ta dad.on ini?. It is somewhat positive with a negative shadow at the end. Hope you get my point.

    @valorouswitch

    Hi,

My apologies if ever you werent the guest I was referring to.

As for the charging of utensils, mgt have already done what you've suggested and what happened before was that they misinform the checker that theyve already returned it. Also, mgt tried to place some markers on the utensils to no avail. What was suggested was that mgt will just purchase new utensils that arent commonly used for checkers to ID it easily however due to the resort being so affordable, mgt cant afford to focus on 1 area only since they have lots of projects and also, it was also discussed that if the resort will let customers rent utensils, then what will happen w/ the restaurant? No one will be ordering in the restaurant. So, again it goes both ways. The resort mgt is trying to do its best to cater to everyones' need while trying to manage a very reasonable priced resort, however as they say, cant just please everyone.

Thank you for your comment and suggestion. DWBR Mgt appreciates it a lot!

Reading this thread is making me laugh... kay kato mga ni reklamo, mostly are binata and some stupid. Immature comments. Why go on a beach vacation and not expect to spend? It's a business resort, not public beach.

I have been to beaches in north and south of Cebu with my wife and this time I am looking for a new place for us to celebrate our Anniversary. Been to Bantayan, Boracay, Camotes, Moalboal, Dalaguete beaches and of course, as expected, you will need to spend and pleasure and even convenience will cost money.

So I hope this new destination is something wonderful and memorable experience for me and my wife.

We will be there tomorrow Friday. Will post my own review soon...

Was there and my wife an I liked it. We are even planning to go back and stay there longer. Maybe 2 nights stay na kay na bitin mi. Hehe

For us, we liked it because of its peace and quiet atmosphere. If you're looking for a peace and quiet vacation with your wife, husband, boyfriend/girlfriend, partners, then I would recommend Durhan. It is definitely worth the trip. We rode with my sportsbike (which is what we love to do - road trips) and passed through via trancentral highway-balamban-asturias-tuburan-tabuelan route. We did not go via Sogod because the road from sogod to tabuelan is very bad. The road is being under construction.

    So here is my review:
Room - room was worth it. For a P1500 air conditioned room, hot/cold shower, with a beach front view and privacy... its definitely worth the price.
Food - Food at first seemed expensive because all are above P200 per serving but when we saw it served, it’s good for 2 people so one meal/menu. It won’t turn out expensive kay good for 2 man. All you need to add are rice and drinks. Rice was wrapped with banana leaves and well presented. One rice is even enough for me kay dako man ila takos sa rice.
Beach - The beach was great and well maintained. The staff always cleaned the shore, the garden and beach from seaweeds. Tin-aw kaayu and dagat and perfect especially on high tide. No seaweeds or garbage at all. It's like naa mo sa shangri-la naligo kay nice jud ila beach. hehe
Staff - The staff was very accommodating, friendly and always took care of us. They always visit us and ask us if we need anything else and even asked us what we like for our dinner or breakfast. Hinatod sa room ang food and even our beer and ice hatod jud sa room with a smile. We asked for ice for our coke litro and they provided us with an ice bucket with ice in it to keep the ice from melting. They really showed how they take care of their guests.
Amenities – They have enough amenities to keep you occupied. They have videoke, billiard table, restaurant, basketball court, volleyball on the beach and even saw a table tennis. So other than swimming, they have more to offer.

There are only 2 things I wasn't happy about.
Their cable TV was not functioning yet. It would have been nice if we could watch something even if it’s just a local channel coz sometimes, when you’re resting in the room or lying down on the bed getting ready to sleep, we would like to watch a show or movie, right? It would have been perfect if that was fixed or resolved.
The room we stayed in had an air conditioning drainage problem. The water was dripping inside the room. Some of our stuff got wet and the floor was flooded with water. Good thing the staff was helpful and offered to move us to another room but we opted to just stay and just asked for more rags or trapo. Hasol na kung mo balhin pami. Hopefully they will have that problem fixed.

I have only one suggestion. It would be nicer if the staff would have a uniformed shirts or polo shirts with the name of the resort printed kay naa man gud mga panday or other workers there working so mag libog ta if asa nila taga resort and kinsa nila ato pwede ma duol to order or ask something.

Overall, I would go back and recommend Durhan to my friends and family for a beach destination. For me, I would rate Durhan White Beach resort 8/10.
    Keep up the good work!

@Queen_ibyang : Haha.. nag bali-os ra diay ta kay 29 sa 12 noon mi ni check out. Ako suggest if mo balik mo didto, kato tag 1500 na room inyo kuhaoon. 500 ra diperensya sa price but dako deperensya sa comfort and in front pa sa beach jud. Mahal ang food compared to karenderia price but ana mana usual prices sa in house resort restaurants. But we can always bring our own food or go out sa resort and find a more affordable karenderia near sa resort.

Nindot lang to ang tag 1K na room if kinawboy na stay with barkada kay usually mag binuntagay mana inum or ligo sa dagat. hehe...
