Job DescriptionThumbtack is looking for long term, full time contractors to fill a variety of roles in our fast growing U.S. company. We’re looking for customer support agents, writers, editors, proofreaders and data verification/ data entry team members. All candidates must be based in the Philippines and speak fluent Tagalog and English. Candidates must be willing to work 40 hours/ week, but schedules are flexible in most roles.

We are changing the way people find and book services in the U.S. – from handymen and electricians, to DJs and wedding photographers – you’ll find it all on Thumbtack. We are introducing hundreds of thousands of consumers to service professionals every month and we’re just getting started.
With money in the bank, and a proven business model, our Customer Operations team is scaling fast. We have a large group of ODesk contractors already working with us in the Philippines on a range of tasks. As long as you have the requirements below, there’s likely to be a task that fits your skills and preferences!
Candidates MUST have great mixture of these skills and attitude:
* Excellent English reading and writing skills - we have tasks for intermediate to very advanced levels of English
* Superior grammar and punctuation knowledge
* Fast and accurate typing skills
* High attention to detail
* Customer-service mindset
* Ability to follow complicated guidelines and instructions
* Strong interpersonal, time management, and problem solving skills
* Positive, happy, silly and passionate
* With strong work ethics - honest, resourceful, reliable, and with constant desire to improve
Please ONLY apply if you:
* Are available at least 40 hours per week (Applicants with full-time job will not be considered)
* Have your own functioning computer and a very fast, reliable internet connection - prepaid dongles are unreliable and not recommended for this job.
* Are willing to be flexible with different shifts and schedules
* Have a working webcam (once hired, webcam shall be used thru oDesk viewer)
* You are comfortable with our rates: our hourly rates range from $1.50 to $2.40 per hour.
Bonus points if you:
* Are able to work the graveyard shift
* Have good analytic and judgement skills
* Have excellent internet research and navigation skills
* Want to work with us long term
Starting rates depend on the task and team you are matched with. Pay is directly related to the complexity of the task and the level of English required. Raises are assessed on a combination of time worked and performance.
