Windows 8 boot's fast because UEFI and SecureBoot... that mean if you want a 2nd OS sa imo system good luck... the reason why the former is slow in boot is because it use Legacy BIOS boot.. which has been use since the early days... there is nothing special in this features (SecureBoot) except that rootkit cant run.. however... you can still achieve the same speed at a cost of SD drive
windows 8/8.1 has nothing special except that it is and always will be design for touch capable screens... based from my previous review on the retail version of 8/8.1 still it didnt take the cigar yet.. too many missing features and bugs... and MS account login... is useless IHMO.. if network hardware is disabled dili ka login, but you can login however if its enabled weither connected or not...
yeah i agree. currently im in 8.1 pro. ang major change ra niya kay naa nay start button sa desktop nya pwede madisable ang mga left hotspot. nya automatic boot to desktop nig on sa pc.
nya karon i regret..for upgrading. nya kamo think twice gyud mo b4 purchase win 8.
