All I can say is you can't really please everyone. There are always other places to go to depending on your mood and your taste. But everyone's entitled to their own opinions so you're free to diss.

However, in defense of Paseo, Paseo may be similar to other defunct places in some ways but you should look at the bigger and better picture, especially in ways that it differs. Contrary to other comments, we can learn from past mistakes and improve on them.

Security is better.
Paseo is not just a place to drink and party in.
It's a place to SHOP, DINE, LOUNGE and RELAX as well.

And if you can manage to look beyond the common misconception, then you can really appreciate what Paseo has to offer to the Cebuanos.
