I guess the lawsuit is justified because Malaysia did a sloppy job at communicating with the relatives but on the other hand it's the first time Malaysia had a crisis like this.

I don't know about including Boeing though since there's no wreckage to prove that it was really a fault in the plane. And I think that no plane wreckage was found is kinda expected since the previous similar crash to the ocean took 2 years to find all of the wreckage (or was it just for starting to find the wreckage).
Also the accident could have been entirely the airlines fault for sloppy maintenance and not Boeing's, just like the what happened on SK asiania airlines in San Fran where the nose dipped to low and caused 3 deaths.

The transport minister says today's search area as 16,290 square nautical miles in the west sector, and 6,506 square nautical miles in the east sector.
