anyone who holds office, that's to say from the president, down to barangay captains & everyone in between. that will include direct & indirect family members.

from how i see it, even if some managed to sneak in, they won't be able to really abuse their power because certain provisions from the new constitution(federalism/parliamentary system) should prevent or at the very least, limit their power.

there are so many provisions we can think of to make our country the best it can be BUT this is only wishful thinking until we as the people make this happen.

Send Sen. Enrile, Estrada, Revila and all congressmen involved in the pork barrel scam to jail now to set an example that stealing people's money does not pay.

Unsa gud tawn pagka ROOT Cause sa isa ka Constitution?

Ang nag sunod ug nag Implementar sa instution maoy Root cause Dili ang Balaod.

    Example:
Ginadili paglabay ug basura, multa, bisag i priso pa - Nahunong ba ang paglabay? WALA. So since wala nahunong ang BALAOD diay maoy ROOT cause?

do you know what a constitution is exactly? are you even aware that the constitution is the foundation on how senators & congressmen make laws? hahaay

i never said we could make perfect laws. what i said is to change the constitution so we can make our country better.

I asked if all formerly elected officials will not be able to hold public office in the new constitution, this would mean even those who are doing good will be included as well. I disagree, there are still good public servants out there. And also, would you like to have a government run by neophytes? Even a company will not allow this type of set-up or else business will eventually shut down.

"Constitution is only a TOOL, it does NOT COMPRISE the entirety of a NATION." - oh yes, the constitution is merely a simple tool & not the backbone of an entire country! LOL! (sic!) (sarcasm!)

you want proof of how amazingly "astute" you really are? very well, let me qoute your very, uhm "sensible" reply earlier.

asenso kaayo ang Pinas kung tarungon lang pag-implement ang baluktot na systema!

hmm this calls for a smart debate. it's true there are good politicians out there but it's very hard to tell who those good politicians really are.

i mean, this is just one of the provisions i'm suggesting & it can always be ammended to make it better.

Trivia: Did you know that should the national broadband project aka NBN ZTE or something similar was successful it would have revolutionized how government does its daily duties. Unfortunately it was a chinese corporation who won the bidding hence the americans did not want any part of it that's why you have the NBN ZTE scandal.

The trial expose brouhahaha blah blah was just a misdirection the real issue was national security. You don't want chinese snooping and spying on your data transfers especially if you are a US vassal state.

Murag Brayt sad ka dah, Sorry sa Spelling Mr Genius.

Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago remains skeptical over moves to change the Constitution, but she will consider it if the amendments will dwell on preventing "idiots" from running for high posts in the government.
"My only caveat is, that once you decide to change the Constitution, you cannot by law, limit the change or amendment of the Constitution to just for a particular point," she said.

Santiago cited the opinions of the Supreme Court ruling that once Congress has made a decision to open the Charter to change, it cannot limit what a constitutional convention or constituent assembly can do.

"You cannot say just limit it economic provisions. That will go against the ratio of the cases decided by the Supreme Court. So if that’s going to happen, I generally do not want the Constitution to be amended so soon," she said.
She added that she is against changing the economic provisions for the sake of change.
Ang akong pangutana ani run is Since ikaw nag Ingun nga ang ROOT CAUSE mao ang Constitution.
If Root cause pa - NGANU Wa man nagdali si Meriam Santiago para mausab na?
Nganu wa man niya ipamugos nga usbon nga Para nimu ROOT CAUSE man kaha?
Sharu ROOT CAUSE nya Wala jud gipamugos ni Miriam? WALA siya kabalo sa imung nahibal-an?

Unya Kinsay may KAHIBALO ani run, Kinsay amung tuhuan - Ikaw nga Copy Paste or si Miriam Santiago?
