That's why we've taken steps to implement an Fair Use Policy designed to reduce the speeds of only the 3% of users who are responsible for generating large volumes of traffic on our network which greatly impacts the service we offer to other paying subscribers. These customers often have file-sharing software or peer-to-peer/torrent apps on their phones or tablets, and download large-format files such as music, videos and movies consistently.

This means customers on an internet promo and plan who exceed 1 GB a day or 3 GB per month (whichever comes first) will experience browsing at 2G speeds.

That's a load of bull. I can easily exceed 3GB/mo without using torrents or downloading music, videos or movies. Mobile apps alone consume huge chunks of background data, and that's not even considering things like GPS and map applications. And then there's streaming videos such as on YouTube, image uploads on Instagram and Facebook, cloud backup applications like Dropbox and Google Drive, etc. And what about email attachments? Frequent sending and receiving of email attachments, such as many business users do, also consume a portion of data. There are many valid uses wherein one could hit the data cap limit. This new FUP of Globe's is very ill thought out.

Wala may cap ang plan999 postpaid sa globe sa prepaid rna na apply ug sa uban postpaid plan nga naay call and text service. pero kung kadto pilion ang plan999 unlimited internet wala cap. Ako kai sim card ra gani ang gihatag sa ako sa globe kai naa nman ko modem daan. ok kaayo ang globe @7.2Mbps.. sarap mag DL.. maabot gani ug 5Gig ako DL sa isa ka adlaw..

Now Im quoting my post kay naigo nako, kung kanus-a nga tagsa nlng ko mo atubang ug computer karon pa naigo... disappointed jud kaayo ko nila kai wala pman gud ng FUP pag apply nko unya karon nikalit lng ug gawas.. Lipay kaau ko sauna nila karon lisod na... better pa disconnect nlng ni... As a customer nga naanad na sa speed nga ilang gi hatag sauna lisod jud kaau e adjust... tsk tsk.. ok ra ug e adjust pud ang bill dili rba jud, usahay mo subra pa hinuon pero kai nindot lageh ang serbisyo bayaran gihapon kai na kontento lageh..
