Guys, for the last 5-6 years nag Call Center na raba ko since I've left my job before that nga more incline sa IT. I was a system admin before ko ni enter call center.

But akong experience sa last 4 Call centers kay puro man Tech Support like (internet, network, computer hardware and software troubleshooting) is this enough para ma profile ko para IT sa ETEEAP?

For as long as you have 5 years of work experience, you are qualified. You just need to present a COE from those companies.

Way feedback sa mga nag ETEEAP sa UC ngara? Nindot unta to makadungog ta sa ilang side para naa sad options ang mga interesado. Nice jud unta USJR pero mahal ra kaayo gud, di madala sa budget.

Better in terms of curriculum and implementation. I've had my share of "project this, project that" without any real learning received.

    Residency? What do you mean?

I'm interested in getting an Education degree via ETEEAP. How does residency apply in this case? I thought it's only for doctors. lol

    This is from ched's site.

    ---------------------------------
The Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program, or “ETEEAP”, is an educational assessment scheme that recognizes knowledge, skills, and prior learning obtained by individuals from relevant work experiences. Mandated by Executive Order (EO) 330 issued by President Fidel Valdez Ramos on May 10, 1996, this program is an offshoot of the recommendation of the “First Employment Summit” held on September 1995.

Implemented through deputized higher education institutions (HEIs) who shall award the appropriate academic degree, a Panel of Assessors is convened to determine the candidate’s knowledge, skills and attitudes relevant to a particular discipline. By establishing equivalency competence standards and a comprehensive assessment system employing written test, interview, skills demonstration, and other creative assessment methodologies, deputized HEIs may administer competency-based evaluation, and eventually award appropriate equivalency credit or academic degree to the successful candidate.
    ------------------

the way i understand is that there's is no learning or classroom type instructions here. You are being assessed through various means/methodologies about your skills and knowledge obtained from work experiences and award you with academic degree.

...so important gyud kaayo ang work experienced and para nako projects, assignments, thesis and etc ang buhaton diri.
