My gf was diagnosed of STD/STI. She has gonorrhea according to the doctor. I also got checked and luckily there was no findings of gonorrhea but the doctor prescribed me a medicine to have it for two days then everything will be ok. So I followed the doctor's instruction and thank God my next laboratory finding shows negative result. And also my gf is now well after she has undergone series of medications. I'm thankful for us both.

I'd asked the doctor about how and where the infection started but he even can't give me a straight answer. Now I'm still wondering how and where my gf got this infection. We've talked and she insists having no contact with anyone else except me ever since our bf/gf relationship started. Guys, is it possible she's telling the truth? Is it possible that an uninfected couple having sexual relationship could get STD/STI? If so, how is that possible?

I don't want to let my gf feel that I don't trust her. I just want to know the truth what really happened. I can't resist sometimes having doubt on her. Guys, please help me...
Gonorrhea is caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae. The infection is transmitted from one person to another through vaginal, oral, or anal ***. Men have a 20% risk of getting the infection from a single act of vaginal intercourse with an infected woman. The risk for men that have *** with men is higher. Women have a 60–80% risk of getting the infection from a single act of vaginal intercourse with an infected man. A mother may transmit gonorrhea to her newborn during childbirth; when affecting the infant's eyes, it is referred to as ophthalmia neonatorum. It cannot be spread by toilets or bathrooms.

Another myth about STDs is that you can't get them if you have oral or anal ***. That's also wrong because the viruses or bacteria that cause STDs can enter the body through tiny cuts or tears in the mouth and anus, as well as the genitals.

STDs also spread easily because you can't tell whether someone has an infection. In fact, some people with STDs don't even know that they have them. These people are in danger of passing an infection on to their *** partners without even realizing it.
Pero ang gonorrhea throught deep contact jud, not just simple skin contact...
