Do people who are dying have the right to be happy?

definitely yes, why would you take away that happiness knowing their helpless and dying..
ihatag nako tanan nakung mahatag to make that person happy as long as kaya nako.
especially those people that are closest to me, by the time that they will perish at least that last moment
i cared.

I don't know about being happy... but in my line of work (being in the Palliative healthcare field), I make sure my patients have a "comfortable" death - pain-free and non-agonizing.

And in most of them, that is all they wished for in their final days.
