It can be done. Note 3 supports OTG but I've read from some articles that NTFS is not supported unless the N3 is rooted. Haven't tried though. Right now I'm ok with the 64GB external card. If I need check my archive, I just plug my N3 to my laptop.
If you've successfully implemented the connection, do share some infos.

I was using the brando workshop tempered glass 0.33mm before then I upgraded to the same brand at 00.2mm...no difference. No problems with screen sensitivity even with the S View on.

Sounds good. I'm planning to get a Spigen GLAStR but seems 0.33mm is too thick. Maybe 0.2mm is good enough. I just need another layer for the wear and tear of touch/wipe and s-pen contact.

Just installed a 0.26mm tempered glass screen protector (TGSC) on my N3 after a long time of weighing the pros and cons.

To share some of the native specs of N3, the screen is using Corning's Gorilla Glass 3 which is resistant to scratch and sharp contact damage. Something not common sa mga smartphones in the market. Kasagaran ako mabantayan from some cell shops kay inig palit sa smartphone, naa na pakapin nga plastic screen protector or they will offer one.

The question now is, what drives the need to install another layer of material on top of N3. Simple. Wear and tear. Continued use (fruit ninja, candy crush, etc.) will eventually leave a mark on the screen due to the presence of abrasive particles on the surface of the finger. Oil for example leaves a fingerprint mark on the surface.

In terms of performance and sensitivity, nothing change. With the TGSC installed, the sensitivity is just the same as without. Advantage nga ako nabantayan so far is sayon ra limpyohon ang smears and prints as compared to the bare screen. Dili tapered ang cut-out sa home button sa akoa so after installing the TGSC, the home button feels like recessed a bit.
