UPDATE ON ALCOY-ATENEO BRAWL:

• Both Ateneo and Alcoy are disqualified from the rest of the tournament: CFA

• Coach Hayato Ayabe of Ateneo and Cris delos santos of Alcoy suspended for 6 mos. in all CFA-sanctioned meets.

• 5 players from Alcoy, 4 players from Ateneo suspended for 6 months; suspension takes effect immediately.

• CFA will forward the sanctions to Phil. Football Federation (PFF) hence nationwide application. If PFF decides to impose nationwide ban, it cold mean players cannot try out for college teams.

• As to sanction on spectator, CFA wants to see all picture first before coming up with appropriate decision. This could be the first time that a spectator would be banned.
