Fans of TV series can probably relate to this. Or of the movie castaway.
Seriously, here are few of my thoughts.

Any nation with active border defense system could have immediately spotted seconds after MH370 deviated from its flight plan. They could have responded immediately to intercept, challenge and guide the MH370 to neutral locations where the airline wont pose significant threat if there is any.
If all options were exhausted to communicate with MH370 and failed, (including possibility of a highjack) there is a high possibility that these defense system will carry out drastic action to neutralize the potential threat. The world had already learned from 911 that even a commercial airliner can be a potential threat.

MY THEORY:


That one of the country. China, might, Japan or Vietnam or any nearer Territory that the Malaysian Airlines would be nearest... Had Accidentally orders their Defense force to shoot down/or Purposely shoot down the Malaysian Plane... while collecting and hiding the debris as fast as they could.. Now all the satellites in the world might get some images on that.. So the political leaders on all parties(all country tries to involve) negotiates everything wither to tell the public or not at certain condition.


Its easy to hide a plane debris in a short time specially when a government orders it... Maybe there was someone inside that plane that needed to cut off from this world.. or any reason why that plane have to go down.. What i really mean is that .. the answers to all the question might be already there... its just the government and any other government in their respective countries are just trying to hide some facts.. and covers up the real stories while they are still in negotiation.. and when conditions met.. That's the time a made up/a much accepted information to the public will be announce... while the hidden conditions of all the countries involve are being kept secret.
