im for a Federal system why ? so each province can enjoy what ever they earn, their taxes goes to that province and its development. Example ...today people in Cebu, Davao, Baguio and other parts of the country are subsidizing both MRT and LRT fares so that people in Manila can enjoy a lower fares...it that correct ?

But How About sa Probinsiya nga dli pa intown kasugakod sa Federalism ? Okay jud ni nga federal system but sa ginaingon na nako magpa rich sa ta ang solution ana kay FDI wanajud lain.

Ug asenso na gani tungod sa kugi puede na mag federal kay mura man pud na domino effect .. ang development ana dili man lang major cities so mabuhi na sila ug sila ra dili na mag salig ug subsidy sa Manila .... nag damgo pero sige lang.

Ang development of course naa jud sa Capital kay ang mga Negosyante ad2 man jud na sila ug daghan ang tawo ug kanang traffic ... dili mana sila mo invest sa mingaw nga lugar ...

Before we will go to the Federal system, we should also think about its impact -- the pros and cons.

Charter change going to Federalism could be the last option but how to resolve below remain a question. From my post on the other thread:

but think of it this way, we are 7,107 islands... do you really think that centralized form of government will get things faster around here? Do note, people are already divided in the Philippines as it is... language and basic geography.

Federalism will make things faster and more efficient within smaller sectors of society. Extreme reliance on a central government will slow down progress - there are too many chains to cross and too many crocs to feed.
